7-1-7
All Purpose
Organic
fertilizer 7-1-7 is a granulated blend of feathermeal, rock
phosphate and mined sulfate of potash.
Feathermeal is a protein nitrogen source.
Works well as an all purpose fertilizer.
Rock phosphate is the source of phosphorous with a total P
rating of 10% and an available phosphorous level of 1.0%.
7-1-7
is an excellent preplant fertilizer and may also be used in
topdressing type applications.
If applying to shady moist soil surfaces best results are
obtained by cultivating the fertilizer two to four inches into the
soil.
The
general rate of application is 8-10 lbs. per 1,000 square feet
(350-500 lbs. per acre). This
product may be used in place of commercial fertilizers such as
15-15-15 or 16-16-16.

12-0-0
Slow Release Nitrogen
This
granulated product is derived from 100% feathermeal which is a slow
release form of nitrogen with an analyses of 12% N.
Feathermeal
is a protein source of nitrogen that releases slowly through
bacterial action. The
length of the releasing action will vary with actual soil
conditions. Organic
fertilizer 12-0-0 may be surface applied by topdressing but usually
releases more efficiently when applied by side-dressing or
incorporated into the soil 2-4" deep.
The
rate of application for organic fertilizer 12-0-0 ranges from 5-10
lbs. per 1,000 square feet (approximately 200-400 lbs. per acre).
This product is an excellent replacement for sulfur coated
urea or other plastic or resin coated slow release nitrogen
fertilizers.
8-5-1
Fast Action Fertilizer
Organic
fertilizer 8-5-1 is a granulated blend of meat and bone meal.
The nitrogen is in an insoluble state but quickly decomposes
through bacterial action.
8-5-1
is an ideal turf fertilizer but should not be topdressed or surface
applied to open soil areas. For
soil applications such as vegetables or fields, side-dress or
cultivate the product into the soil at least 2-4" deep.
The
rate of application of organic fertilizer 8-5-1 ranges from 6-10
lbs. per 1,000 square feet (approximately 250-500 lbs. per acre).
This product may be used in place of nitrate fertilizers,
such as calcium nitrate or ammonium nitrate.
All
granulated natural fertilizers can be applied with any type of
commercial fertilizer spreader.
